Colorado Columbine
The Colorado Columbine (Aquilegia ceorulea) grows in meadows, woodlands, rocks, scree from June to August. It is also Colorado's state flower.

Beautiful shots Sylvia, I'm so jealous as I didn't get any photos of the columbine while I was briefly in the Rocky Mts in Aug., tho I did see them.
